Presidents With Girl Hair
I keep being inspired whenever I have a glass of wine, and I keep drawing presidents with girl hair. So this is my ongoing sketch series aptly named: Presidents With Girl Hair.

FANTASTICON 2014
So, I recently got married. Being an artist, I HAD to create a whole bunch of printed material. Also, being into many things, my husband and I decided to have a cosplay wedding. We called it FANTASTICON 2014. The concept behind the wedding is just as ridiculous as we are, AND it was an amazing excuse to have everyone come in costumes. Not like you need an excuse. Ever.
For FANTASTICON, we decided that we were a pair of actors who were most famous for playing Joker and Harley Quinn in a movie adaptation of "Mad Love". Being huge Batman fans, and I am talking Bruce Timm/BM:TAS and comic book Batman, we had to go as two of our favorite characters. The movie was so popular that the executives decided to create two sequels - "Upside Clown" and then the gritty, exploitation film "Jokes On You". As a cosplayer going to FANTASTICON, you are coming to see us, the actors, dressed up as our characters, who just happen to get married at the convention as a little treat. A little complicated, but whatever, it was very us.
Here are the logo, invites, posters, and some of the signage I created for the event.

Mr. Stumps
This is the guy that lives down the street from me.
Every morning he sits on this little stool he has made out of a stump and piece of round plywood.
Sometimes I see him drinking beer in the morning at the corner store.
Most of the times I see him staring at the high school and middle schoolers who are waiting for the bus.
Sometimes he is missing when I drive by, and I think that stump looks really lonely.

Class Act
Mrs. Wilkin's school of awkward Ballerinas was never considered to be the best, but she took pride in knowing at least they showed up to class dressed appropriately.

Anna Ampersand Agitation Abound!

So, I am recouping from a week long stay at the hospital, and now I am getting sickness boredom, since I am not allowed to move from my apartment and go have a life until I get better. So what better time to update my poor, forgotten blog in which I do love but have neglected? It's like an old stuffed animal you used to carry with you everywhere, but then moved and it fell behind the bed, and then you were like "Oh my god! I love you!" when you found it. Here is a couple of freelance character designs I did for a studio here in the Burbs of Bank. I will post more in the future (once I have restarted the blog it would be sad to stop again, but who knows the fuchah! If I could time travel forward to see the stuff going down, I would.) This is for a show about a neighborhood with a strange dynamic, with a select few of the main characters selected out. They had a very specific look in mind for the characters, which is kind of nice for a change. Anyway, welcome back, me!

Ahhh, one more redo. More like visual organization of colors and shapes. Totally better, makes me feel better. Time for the bed.
Real quick like

There is an unexpected deadline! Here is a new composite of our lovely octopus friend. I AM doing new stuff, but only because its redoing things in a better way.
After I do this stuff, I am doing more actual new stuff. So I haven't gone back to Posey Knows Best yet, but I was just touching stuff up. <3

I do love cats.

Look I found an old Quinn magazine cover from the 60's. Weird, right? No but seriously, folks. I have a computer. I hope it keeps working. I lost everything. Most of everything. My backup failed on me, man. No original art files, no nothin.
Luckily its not game over. I am back to the Quinn project in full force. I never left it, I just digressed. I have a painting, too, for a movie called "DEEP TROUBLE". You will see that when I am done bonding with Frankie.
In the meantime, expect either Quinn related things or Halloween related things. But do not expect nothing. I am sick of nothing!
So, back to the photoshops.

This is what is sounds like when anna cries
My computer is officially kaputnik. Thats why I haven't been a-postin', or doing anything on the internets at all really. I am currently waiting for my new (PC...) computer, which is not new, but old parts that my brother will be putting together so I can use the photoshop and the webbernets again. His name shall be Frankie, because hes a frankenstein of a bunch of other computers. Maybe I will spraypaint the case green. Hopefully this will be soon. In the meantime, I am painting and drawing so there will be a great big cache of stuff to show whenever I get my lovely frankie.
So, it is only appropriate to do a euligy here, please bow your heads:
May my trusty mac, Elton, R.I.P. He was a good computer, despite all the new Harddrives I had to install. I will miss his sleek white exterior, his great way of avoiding viruses, and the glorious chorus of angels that sang everytime I turned him on. May the computer gods be kind to him, and may his design always be remembered.
Amen.

In French we say Couleur

Her school's mascot/team/whatever...its the Trojans. And the rival? Did you guess the obvious? It is a kids show after all. The Titans. I am pretty sure there is a dab of irony somewhere in this.
